Simplicity Sofas prides itself in helping it’s customers make the right choice, and in having the best customer service available for them. Owner and CEO Jeff Frank frequently receives customer compliments for the quality of his products, the integrity of his business, and the outstanding level of customer service he offers, oftentimes personally. Below you’ll find a few of these compliments, from real people who’ve had a great experience with Simplicity Sofas.
Thank you so much for your and Ann’s assistance. I received my couch on Saturday and love it. I couldn’t be any more pleased with your service. Although I know shipping in NYC is difficult, you should really consider marketing your sofas here because so many of us have narrow hallways and difficult stairways. If there’s ever someone in the city that wants to see one of your sofas in person, I’d be happy to show them mine. Thanks again.

Here is the story of THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. The back story: I ordered the full-sized Lorelei sofa and, as promised, it arrived in four weeks and took less than 15 minutes for me to assemble. It looks gorgeous, and you’d never think it can be disassembled. However, it looked like they sent seat cushions for a shorter sofa, and there was a bit of a gap in between the cushions. I called the company and not only did they say they’d make new ones, but rather than have me wait for them to ship to my house, the PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY HIMSELF (that would be Jeff) would deliver them to my place on a Sunday because he lives in the area. As promised, he showed up when he said he would, and exchanged the too-short cushions for new ones that he had tested in the factory on a similar couch. People, this kind of customer service is so rare. This company clearly stands behind its products. If you need furniture, but you need to squeeze it through a narrow hallway or small elevator, these sofas will fit. Not only that, but you’ll be buying them from a company that treats its customers with kindness and respect. I’m happy to recommend Simplicity Sofas to everyone I know, and everyone looking this up on Yelp. Jeff didn’t pay me to write this
Just wanted to thank you for your help in July as I was deciding what to do. I’m so excited about my new sofa! And you were right – I picked one of the extra fabric swatches you folks sent along with my requested ones. How did you know?! Thanks again.
One of the biggest problems that a lot of homeowners have is how to decorate rooms that are small spaces. This is often an issue in the bathroom because things like sinks and toilets can take up precious space in a small area. However, there are some great, easy decorating tips that can help you make a small bathroom seem much larger.
The first tip is to choose a lighter paint color for the walls. Soft colors give the illusion of more space, so choose these hues for the main parts of your bathroom like the walls or tiles. If you want to have bright, bold colors present, choose them for the towels or smaller details.
Another great way to add the illusion of space is to use mirrors and extra lighting. These things are usually put into the walls or ceilings so they won’t take up any additional space and they give the effect of a larger room by opening it up. The mirrors will also pick up the color and patterns you have in the bathroom.
Installing a glass shower door instead of a curtain will also make the room seem more open and give your eye the ability to pan over the entire space without being obstructed by something so opaque. Another great trick is to add details that will keep you looking up, like shelves placed higher on the wall or special details on the ceiling.

Small apartments or studio lofts need to change a little for the Holidays. Granted, you have created your own image and added the perfect“decor,” but you need to add or change somethings here or there for the holidays.
For some it’s easy, for others you’re thinking …. “Hmmm … I have everything in place for my lifestyle; where do I put all these holiday decorations so they do not over crowd what I have already accomplished? How do I put more things into this small space?”
It can be a daunting task. But you don’t have to spend your Holiday bonus on over-decorating to make it a Winter Wonderland. Here are some ideas to get your Holiday decorating off to the right start if you live in a small space.
Consider these choices.
Work with what you have. Move a chair from one corner of the room to another (or to another room entirely!) to create some space for additional gatherings for guests to stand and mingle.
Place a small holiday tree in that space.
Arrange your tree and decorations on top of an already existing accent table and do not bother moving anything. Create your own festive design in that space, if you choose.
Mantle Beware! Overcrowding the mantle will make your space seem even smaller. Simple candles and some Holiday pictures of days gone by will do just fine.
If you are weary of moving things around, try stacking poinsettias on top of different sized boxes bunched together in the room to create a festive focal point. You can pick up empty boxes in any size from any grocery. Turn the boxes upside down, drape some fabric around the bases, place your poinsettias (which will last forever) on the boxes and you’re done.
It only takes up a little space and your apartment sofa or chair doesn’t need to be moved to accommodate this. Your guests won’t ever have to ‘guess’ where to place their party gifts. They’ll know to place them right around your poinsettia tree.
I thought of a great idea today, too. Take your old twinkling lights (that are still working from last year, right?) and wrap them around your tallest plant(s). Sit back and relax to your favorite music and watch them twinkle. Hang a Charlie Brown red ornament or “your” favorite ornament on the plant if it works for you.
Or … bunch a few different sized plants together (tall, small and wide) and wrap the twinkling lights around them. You can do this to create a holiday experience in many rooms.
What are you are doing in your small space this season? We would love to hear from you so we can post your ideas and share your joy! Let us know what works for you.
